Elf Night 2008

Ok, last night here was Elf Night at Dorothy B. Oven park. They have it every year however we had never been until now. It was so fun and so pretty. They had tons and tons and tons of lights. Carson was in awe of it all. My sister, Erin, her boys and her mother in law went with us and Carson & the boys had a blast. They kept running up to stuff saying "here take my picture with this". They were too cute! The weather was great for my blood too. I think it was like 65, somewhere around there so not too cold and not too hot. They made it "snow" as well with teeny tiny bubbles, it was very cool. Here's some pics!!

Mason strolling along at Elf Night.

Carson, Mason & Stephen in the "snow", I think some got in Steve's eye there!

Ran into some of my girls from church, Candace & Jade...crazy girls

Me, Carson & Roy, staged and photographed by Jade, seriously she's hilarious

Carson with the Deer, she loves those!

Carson and I with Frosty, he's so my favorite!

If you are wondering why you don't see Colby that is because he is with his Dad until Christmas Day. He will come home at 3:00 on Christmas day and this mama is counting the days....

Wishing you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Family Christmas Photos... FLORIDA STYLE

Ok this will be a post of mainly pictures. Back in the beginning of November we went to Mashy Sands and had some family pictures taken. They were taken by a friend of Mitzi's. His name is Dave, he's awesome. We had sooooo much fun and the pictures came out great.

Hope you enjoyed!

A WILD ADVENTURE CHRISTMAS!!

Back in November my family, both immediate and extended along with some adopted family members took a trip to Wild Adventures for the Christmas celebration. It was so much fun, but so stinkin cold. I don't think we have ever been that cold. My brothers "friend" Jennifer joined us and she is from Illinois so she just laughed at us most of the evening. However; even she will admit toward the end it was COLD! The kids of course had a blast, they rode everything that they could but alot of the rides were/are closed because of Christmas decorations being around them. Carson & Colby both put on their brave pants and rode a new ride each. Carson finally got on her first "big" rollercoaster, The Swamp Thing and Colby finally, after literally YEARS of debating inside himself rode Boomerang. Both were so proud. Colby was so happy with himself I think he and Jenn rode it about 4 times back to back. Carson only rode her new ride once because she said it was too cold. I have of course no pictures b/c I forgot my camera. I do have a few that Mitzi sent me, she was our photographer for the evening, plus a few that Erin sent me.

We had such a good time. It was so good to hang out with everyone. even if we were freezing our tushies off. My family had never met my brothers friend Jennifer before, neither had his boys or my friend Mitzi and her family. Jenn joined us because she was down visiting her family for Thanksgiving.

This is my Mom & Dad - they are the bestest parents in the whole wide world...

Above is my sister Erin, her husband Lee, and their boys Stephen and Mason (with the paci) - she's the best and those boys are too cute! I could eat them up.

That is my brother Matt and his boys Chander (oldes), Owen (middle) and Hayden (youngest). He just recently divorced and is starting his life anew. Doing pretty good at it too if you want my opinion, but I'm a little biased.

That is my whole family.... we're a good looking group aren't we....

This is our whole family again, plus one of our adopted members Jenn. She and my brother have been friends forever and a day seems like and until this night it had been about that long since we had all seen her.

This is me and Mitzi, she's one of my bestest friends and I love her.

And here's the McKameys, Ronnie, Mitzi, Riley & Cheyenne.... they are part of our adopted family!!

We had such a good time. It was so good to hang out with everyone; even if we were freezing our tushies off. I'm so glad that Jenn was able to join us while she was down visiting her family for Thanksgiving. It was a pleasure finally introducing her to my family as well as Mitzi and her crew. We just all had a great evening!

Ok well now that you have been introduced to everyone check back often.. I'm new to this whole blogging thing, but it can't be that hard can it?!?!

HAPPY HOLIDAY & MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Our First Blog

Welcome to the Kelly blog. We are new at this blogging stuff so bear with us, but hopefully this will be a way we can keep our extended family & friends up to date on what we are doing and what is going on with us.

So far so good on us. Life is going well and we are enjoying it. Roy and I have been married for 9 years and we have 2 great kids. Colby is 11 and Carson is 6. They keep us busy and on our toes that is for sure. Some days I feel like I should wear a referee uniform and a whistle. I love it though and I am trying my best to just cherish each & everyday.

Anyway - I'm sure there will be more to come, especially over the next few weeks with the holidays coming and what not.

SO, WELCOME TO OUR BLOG! HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON!!
